The Shire Map

Limited to 250 prints, signed

$ 129

This high‑resolution map of the Shire is my faithful interpretation of the countryside described in The Lord of the Rings. It is based on the maps by J. R. R. Tolkien and C. J. R. Tolkien, rendered in topographic shaded relief, and laid out with the clarity and authority of National Geographic cartography.

This project has been a work of love for some time. I have a soft spot for this corner of Middle‑earth, and after the Middle‑earth and Beleriand maps, the Shire had to follow. It keeps the same overall look as the other maps, with a more detailed working scale to fit the subject.

This Limited Edition is signed and printed on thicker archival paper that supports more detail, richer color and contrast, and greater longevity than regular poster paper.

Except for the cover image, all images are photographs of the actual product; books are included for scale reference only.

“I cannot praise the Rinus maps highly enough! In a sense of lore, scale and geographical beauty, the maps of Middle-earth, Beleriand, the Shire and more are incredible! The Beleriand map in particular is one of the highest quality Beleriand maps to exist. As the lore YouTuber of the channel Men of the West, I really recommend these maps!”
