Refund & Returns Policy

Overview

I want every order to arrive in the condition it left my studio. Each print is made, checked, handled, and packed with care before dispatch. If something arrives damaged or defective, I will deal with it properly.

At the same time, prints are delicate physical objects. As my prints are made to the highest quality I can achieve, handled with great care, and produced as physical products rather than disposable posters, I cannot reasonably resell a print that has already been shipped, unpacked, handled, repacked, and returned.

I cannot guarantee that such a print would still meet the same standard as when it first left the studio. For that reason, I do not accept change-of-mind returns for prints.

Print returns

All prints are made and handled to the highest standard I can achieve. The paper, surface, edges, and printed image can all be affected by handling, rolling, unrolling, repacking, and shipping. Even when a print appears undamaged at first glance, the additional stress on the paper can make it unsuitable for resale by my standards.

Because of this, I cannot treat a returned print as a new print again. I do not want to send a later customer something that has already travelled through the postal system, been opened, handled, and returned. This is not only a commercial decision, but a matter of print quality and trust.

For this reason, prints and artworks are not accepted for return because of a change of mind, incorrect size choice, or a change in personal circumstances after ordering. Please read the product description, size information, edition details, and print information carefully before placing an order.

Custom work

Custom, commissioned, personalised, or specially requested work cannot be returned unless it arrives damaged or defective. Once this kind of work has been made for a specific customer or request, it cannot reasonably be offered again as a normal product.

If you are unsure whether something counts as custom or commissioned work, please ask before ordering.

Damaged or defective items

If your order arrives damaged during transit, or if there is a clear defect with the item itself, please contact me within 7 days of delivery using the form on the Contact page.

Please include your order number and clear photos of:

  • the damaged item;
  • the outside of the parcel;
  • the inside packaging;
  • any visible dents, tears, bends, crushing, or moisture damage.

Please keep the item and all packaging until the issue has been reviewed. The packaging is often needed to understand what happened during shipping and to support a claim with the carrier.

Resolution

If the damage or defect is confirmed, I will work with you to decide the proper next step. Depending on the situation, this may be:

  • a replacement, if possible;
  • a repair or practical solution, if appropriate;
  • a full or partial refund.

For limited editions, a replacement may depend on available edition numbers, paper, and stock. If a direct replacement is not possible, I will discuss the available options with you.

I try to handle these situations plainly and fairly. Shipping damage is frustrating, but it can usually be resolved more easily when the problem is documented quickly and clearly.

Refund timeline

Approved refunds are normally processed within 7 business days after confirmation. Refunds are sent to the original payment method where possible.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds visible in your account. That part of the process is outside my control.

Order cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact me as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been printed, packed, or dispatched, cancellation may be possible.

Once an order has been printed, packed, or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible. This is especially true for custom, commissioned, personalised, or specially prepared work.

Questions

If there is a problem with your order, or if you are unsure about a print before ordering, you are welcome to contact me. I handle messages myself and will do my best to give a clear answer.

You can use the form on the Contact page.
